CONTEST DATES
The contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. PT on Monday, May 21, 2012 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on Sunday, May 27, 2012 June 10, 2012. All entries must be submitted and received within this time period. Any entries not received within this time period will be disqualified. The computer clock of Sponsor’s webmaster is the official timekeeping device of the Contest.

HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Enter by visiting www.ktla.com/rocky and completing and submitting the online entry form. You must provide all information requested on the entry form, and you must have a valid e-mail account in order for your entry to be qualified. Incomplete entries will be disqualified and KTLA is not responsible for online entries that are lost, late, garbled, deleted or misdirected as a result of technical, internet or other online difficulties. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the holder of the e-mail account will be deemed the person who submitted the entry. Limit one entry per person or e-mail address. Subsequent entries from the same email address will be deleted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. Sponsors will make any and all final decisions in any and all issues related to this Contest, and its decisions shall be final and binding in all respects.

ELIGIBILITY
This contest is void where prohibited by law. This contest is open only to legal residents of California, who are 18 years of age or older as of February 14, 2011. Employees of Sponsor and its parent corporation, subsidiaries, or affiliates, and such employees’ immediate family or household members are not eligible to enter or win the contest.

PRIZE AND WINNER SELECTION
One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing among all qualifying entries, conducted by KTLA or someone designated by KTLA, on or about May 28, June 11, 2012. The odds of winning depend on the number of qualifying entries received. The winner will receive a "Classic First Passage To The West" travel package for two from Rocky Mountaineer which includes:

·         2 days onboard the Rocky Mountaineer train

·         3 nights hotel accommodation:

o   In Vancouver at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver,900 West Georgia Street,Vancouver, British Columbia,Canada, V6C2W6

o   In Kamloops, the location of hotel accomodations is subject to the discretion of the sponsors

o   In Calgary at the Fairmont Palliser, 133 9th Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, T2P2M3

o   Hotel accommodations subject to change at sponsor's discretion

·         Admission to the Calgary Tower at 101 – 9^th Ave. SW, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, T2P 1J9

·         Admission to the Vancouver Lookout, 555 West Hastings St., Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, V6B 4N6

·         Complimentary gourmet snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages onboard the Rocky Mountaineer

·         Rail station transfers in Vancouver, Kamloops and Calgary

·         Two breakfasts and two lunches aboard the Rocky Mountaineer

·         Round-trip, economy-class airfaire for two from LAX to Canada

·         Prize is valid during Rocky Mountaineer’s 2012 summer season (May – October)

Approximate retail value of the entire prize package is $5,958 (USD). Sponsors reserve the right to alter or cancel any part of the prize package due to inclement weather, overbooking, mechanical failure, acts of God or other unforeseen circumstances. Sponsors also reserve the right, but are not required, to provide additional products and/or services as part of the prize package at their discretion. Prizes are awarded as is, with no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, by Sponsor. All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize, as well as all other costs or expenses involved in or associated with the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash and prize substitution will not be allowed, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for the prize.

Winner is responsible for items of a personal nature, ground transportation, hotels, upgrades, tour add-ons, cancellation and medical insurance, meals (other than those specified), gratuities and all other expenses not covered within the prize package.  Space is subject to availability. Some other restrictions apply.

Each Winner will be notified that he or she has been selected by telephone and/or e-mail. If Sponsors are unable to contact the Winner to notify him or her that he or she has won within five days of being selected as winner, or if any notification or prize is rejected or returned as undeliverable, for any reason beyond Sponsor’s control, the winner’s prize may be forfeited and a substitute winner will be selected.

The Winner may be required to present valid identification and to sign additional documentation in order to receive the prize. If the winner does not fulfill these requirements, the prize will be forfeited and a substitute winner may be selected.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
If for any reason, the Internet-related portion of this contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the contest or any portion of the contest. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE CONTEST. Information submitted in Internet entries, including entrant's name, address, e-mail address, etc., may be used by KTLA TV for marketing or promotional purposes.

Sponsors reserve the right to delay contest announcements, postpone or reschedule all or some of the contest events, and/or modify Contest deadlines at its sole discretion. Any such changes will be announced and posted on the Sponsor’s website in a reasonable period of time.

Neither the failure of Sponsors to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these Official Rules nor the failure, delay or omission by Sponsors in exercising any right with respect to any term of these Official Rules, will be construed as a waiver or relinquishment to any extent of each Sponsor's or right to assert or rely upon any such provision or right in that or any other instance.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsors in connection with these Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions.

By participating in this contest, you agree to have your name, photograph, voice, biographical information, and likeness used in any and all media for promotional purposes relating to this contest or future similar contests without further compensation or notice, except as prohibited by law.

By participating in this contest, you represent that you agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges and to release Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from your participation in this contest and your acceptance and use of any prize.

A list of the winners’ names will be available after the winners have been verified and the prizes have been awarded.
