CONTEST DATES
The contest begins at 12:00:00 a.m. PT on Thursday, June 3, 2010 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on Tuesday, June 8, 2010. All entries must be submitted and received within this time period. Any entries not received within this time period will be disqualified. The computer clock of Sponsor's webmaster is the official timekeeping device of the Contest.
HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Enter by visiting www.ktla.com/eclipse and submitting the online entry form. You must provide all information requested on the entry form, including name . age, address, daytime telephone number and a valid e-mail account in order for your entry to be qualified. Incomplete entries will be disqualified and KTLA is not responsible for online entries that are lost, late, garbled, deleted or misdirected as a result of technical, internet or other online difficulties. The use of automated or third party software or website to participate is prohibited. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the holder of the e-mail account will be deemed the person who submitted the entry. Limit one entry per person, household or e-mail address. Subsequent entries from the same email address will be deleted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. Winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Sponsors will make any and all final decisions in any and all issues related to this sweepstakes, and their decisions shall be final and binding in all respects.
ELIGIBILITY
This contest is void where prohibited by law. This contest is open only to legal residents of California within the KTLA viewing area, who are 18 years of age or older as of June 3, 2010. Employees ( and their immediate household or family members) of media companies that are within the KTLA viewing area, Sponsors and its parent corporation, subsidiaries, or affiliates, and such employees' immediate family or household members are not eligible to enter or win the contest.
PRIZE AND WINNER SELECTION
Fifteen (15) winners will be selected in a random drawing among all qualifying entries, conducted by KTLA on or about June 9, 2010. The odds of winning depend on the number of qualifying entries received.
Each winner will receive two (2) Cullen Crest Group B tickets to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse convention at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel, 2025 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles, CA, 90067 on June 11, 12 and 13, 2010. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse convention is produced and organized by Summit Entertainment and Creation Entertainment and not the sponsors of this sweepstakes. Sponsors are not responsible for changes made to convention events by the event organizers, including any delay, cancellation or postponement of the event. . Approximate Retail Value of the set of two tickets is $698.00.
All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize, as well as all other costs or expenses associated with the prize, including any transportation or incidentals incurred at the convention are the responsibility of the winner.
Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash and prize substitution will not be allowed, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for the prize.
Prize is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, by Sponsor.
Each Winner will be notified that he or she has been selected by telephone and/or e-mail. If Sponsor is unable to contact the Winner to notify him or her that he or she has won within five days of being selected as winner, or if any notification or prize is rejected or returned as undeliverable, for any reason beyond Sponsor's control, the winner's prize may be forfeited and a substitute winner will be selected.
The Winner will be required to present valid identification and to sign additional documentation in order to receive the prize. If the winner does not fulfill these requirements, the prize will be forfeited and a substitute winner may be selected.
Winners must pick up their tickets in the Plaza Pavilion Foyer at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel. Failure to pick up the tickets as set forth herein will result in forfeiture of the prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
If for any reason, the Internet-related portion of this contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the contest or any portion of the contest. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE CONTEST. Information submitted in Internet entries, including entrant's name, address, e-mail address, etc., may be used by KTLA-TV for marketing or promotional purposes.
By participating in this contest, you agree to have your name, photograph, voice, biographical information, and likeness used in any and all media for promotional purposes relating to this contest or future similar contests without further compensation or notice, except as prohibited by law.
By participating in this contest, you represent that you agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges and to release Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from your participation in this contest and your acceptance and use of any prize.
