SWEEPSTAKES DATES
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. PT on August 30, 2010 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on September 26, 2010 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). All entries must be submitted and received within this time period. Any entries not received within this time period will be disqualified.
HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Enter by completing and submitting the online entry form at www.ktla.com/fiesta. You must provide all information requested on the entry form marked as “required”, and you must have a valid e-mail account in order for your entry to be eligible and qualified for the drawing. Incomplete entries will be disqualified and KTLA is not responsible for online entries that are lost, late, garbled, deleted or misdirected as a result of technical, internet or other online difficulties. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the holder of the e-mail account will be deemed the person who submitted the entry. Limit one entry per person or e-mail address. Subsequent entries from the same email address will be deleted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. Sponsors will make any and all final decisions in any and all issues related to this Sweepstakes, and their decisions shall be final and binding in all respects.
ELIGIBILITY
This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. This Sweepstakes is open to legal United States citizens residing within the KTLA viewing area during the Sweepstakes Period, who are 18 years of age or older as of August 30, 2010. Employees of other media companies (including television and radio), as well as employees of Sponsors and their parent corporations, subsidiaries, or affiliates, and such employees’ immediate family or household members are not eligible to enter or win the Sweepstakes.
PRIZE AND WINNER SELECTION
On or about September 27, 2010, sponsors will select one (1) winner in a random drawing among all qualifying entries. The odds of being selected as the winner depend on the total number of entries received. If a selected winner is not eligible, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner selected by a random drawing from the remaining entries. Copies or other mechanical reproductions, facsimiles, entries containing technical or electronic reproductions, entries containing attached files are not eligible and will be rejected. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the holder of the e-mail account or the cellular phone account will be deemed the person who submitted the entry. Entries become the exclusive property of Sponsors and will not be returned or acknowledged.
Winner will receive from Ford a credit in the amount of $18,000 to be applied towards the purchase of any model of the 2011 Ford Fiesta (the “Prize”). The Ford dealership for the fulfillment of prize will be determined by Southern California Ford Dealers. Winner is responsible for any amount over $18,000 that is included in the cost of the Ford Fiesta actually selected, as well as any associated taxes, titles, or documentation fees. If the Ford Fiesta selected is less than $18,000, Winner will receive no cash credit or allowance to make up the difference.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, may not be combined with any other offer, and has no cash value. Prize substitution will not be allowed, except at the sole discretion of Sponsors. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for the prize. Any unused Prize elements will be forfeited. Any and all expenses not set forth herein, including any travel expenses, taxes or incidentals, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, by Sponsors.
All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize, as well as all other costs or expenses associated with the prize are the responsibility of the winner. Winner will receive a 1099 tax form reflecting the actual value of any prize that is $600 or more.
Winner will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail; if Sponsors are unable to contact a Winner by October 1, 2010, the Winner may be disqualified and prize may be forfeited, and a substitute winner may be selected.
The winners may be required to present valid identification and to sign a W-9 Form, a Statement of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release by October 1, 2010 in order to receive the prize. Failure to provide acceptable identification or timely execute and return any required forms may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
If for any reason, the Internet-related portion of this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the Sweepstakes, KTLA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes or any portion of the Sweepstakes. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES. Information submitted in Internet entries, including entrant's name, address, e-mail address, etc., may be used by KTLA TV for marketing or promotional purposes.
By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to have your name, photograph, voice, biographical information, and likeness used in any and all media for promotional purposes relating to this Sweepstakes or future similar Sweepstakes without further compensation or notice, except as prohibited by law.
By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Sponsors, and you hereby forever and irrevocably release, indemnify and holds harmless each of the Sponsors and their officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents, shareholders, successors and assigns, from any liability, claims, demands, judgments, proceedings, causes of action, lawsuits, injuries, death, costs, expenses or damages, due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including but not limited to death) or property of any kind, arising from, resulting from, or in connection with, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the Sweepstakes and any element or activity thereof, the entrant’s participation in, entry in, or in ability to enter the Sweepstakes, or any Sweepstakes-related activity, or the entrant’s acceptance, use, misuse, inability to use, possession, travel related to, or defect of any prize, or any violation of entrants privacy, publicity, personal and proprietary rights, or the collection, use and/or sharing of entrant’s personally identifiable information by Sponsor or its designees; any change in the prizing (or any components thereof) due to unavailability, business or creative considerations, or due to reasons beyond Sponsor’s control, any late, lost, stolen, mutilated, misdirected, illegible, delayed, garbled, corrupted, destroyed, incomplete, undeliverable or damaged entries, any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of the Sweepstakes Entities, or any of their agents or employees, lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, or misdirected baggage, lost, late, stolen, misdirected, damaged or destroyed prizing (or any element thereof), and any typographical errors in these Official Rules or any Sweepstakes promotional materials.

A list of the winners’ names will be available after the winners have been verified and the prizes have been awarded.
